1999-2013 GM Truck On3 T6 Single Turbo Kit
On 3 is proud to announce the release of the 1999 – 2013 Chevy / GMC 1500 & 2500 4.8, 5.3, 6.0L T6 single turbo system. This turbo system is a bolt on design that has a very clean and simple install. This kit is based off of the T4 kit offered for a decade, this will use the same kit with a few upgrades to allow you to run our T6 80 and 86mm Billet Wheel Turbos.
They designed the kit to use the stock driverside manifold. From there a crossover which is included in the kit (will clear 4×4 parts and transfer case ) to bring it over to the passenger side which is where the turbo is located. Each of the kits come standard with the On 3 80mm CNC Billet Wheel Turbocharger, with an option to upgrade to the 86mm Billet wheel.
This includes a completely custom turbo manifold unlike any others currently on the market which is completely divided from bank to bank. Its not the typical log manifold that most make and run the driver side bank into. Both banks are completely separated up to the turbo flange which makes for a very cool looking and functional header. With the T6 turbo moving more air, On3 opted for dual 44mm wastegates. One in the standard location on the manifold and a second one underneath in the crossover. Great positioning right at the flange and right after the first bend in the crossover to keep good control over the boost. Included with each turbo system is two of the On 3 Performance 44mm v-banded wastegates which is loaded with a 7psi spring.
To expel all the exhaust from the turbo, they designed a 4.0″ downpipe from 304 stainless steel. This is all constructed from thick, 16 gauge wall tubing which has been proven to stand up to the abuse. This will come with a downpipe only and then a 4″ vband flange and clamp for you to build from.
The complete cold side of this turbo kit is designed using 3″, all aluminum tubing to help dissipate heat, keep the iats as cool as possible and reduce weight. All the tubing is bead rolled to keep the couplers tight when in boost and prevent popping couplers. Not only that, they included stainless t-bolt clamps which provide more clamping power than your traditional worm clamps some use. All of the custom On 3 couplers are 5 ply and come standard as well with each kit. Lastly, the intercooler is the same proven unit used for over 5 years with the other turbo systems. Included is the 4″ core unit which is good up to around 1000hp.
WHAT DO I NEED TO FINISH OFF THE BUILD QUESTION: This question is asked daily, please read through and understand what you are doing and what your goal is. With the T6 turbo system, we suspect you're going to be after 700+hp numbers. This is a typical build that we see and this would be the items used in a 700+rwhp build. In order to support those numbers, youre going to need fuel system upgrades. In the options we have listed the dual pump assembly upgrade, return system and injector options.

New as of 2017: The kit now has an optional 2nd Gen manifold that was created to be more durable through the abuse these trucks see. This is a very unique manifold design to start with and as you can see opened an investment mould. The main runner area is a 3mm thick seamless stainless casting to be as strong as possible. Highly Recommended Upgrade!
