2008-2016 EVO X (EVO 10) Boost Lab TD06SL2-20G Turbo Upgrade
This is the PERFECT OEM Upgrade turbo for both street and track use for the EVO X: Introducing the new BL TD06SL2-20G Billet turbocharger for the Mitsubishi Evolution X! This is a direct bolt on replacement for your OEM TD05HA-152G6-12T turbo with no external modifications required for fitment. The BL TD06SL2-20G is the perfect direct replacement for the everyday enthusiast or diehard track racer wanting quick spooling powerful turbo.
The popular 20G compressor wheel has become the go-to upgrade for the stock frame Evo 8/9 and Evo-X turbos. In stock MHI form, the 20G wheel is good but we took it a step further. We reworked the 20G compressor wheel to our specifications, providing more flow and overall power. Made from forged billet aluminum, our wheel features a 6+6 blade count, slim hub, and extended tip exducer. These are just a few of the highlights that give our Billet 20G compressor wheel an extra kick. The TD06SL2 turbine wheel is a slight step up in size from the stock TD05H. This cuts down on back pressure and allows the 4B11 engine to breathe easier. This results in a smooth powerband all the way to redline. To handle this extra power we replaced the stock TD06 thrust bearing with our 360* Monster Thrust Upgrade. New oil drain gasket, crush washers, and turbine inlet & outlet gaskets are included at no extra charge.
Now the question is, how much power does this BL TD06SL2-20G make? If you are on a stock 4B11 long block with bolt-ons, you can expect to see 400hp on pump gas with this turbo (with a proper tune). If you are running bigger cams like the GSC S2's and E85 you can expect to make up to 500hp.
