The Takeda Retain Intake is a short ram air intake system. In recent testing this intake produced 15 hp and 32 lbs. x ft. of torque. Takeda intakes are constructed out of lightweight clear-coat anodized tubing for maximum air flow and a great style. Each intake uses a large 360 degree high flow Pro DRY S air filter for maximum flow, filtration and convenience. The Pro DRY S air filter requires no oils and cleans with simple soap and water. Takeda intakes come complete with all tubing, filters, couplers and hardware for an easy installation.

This system includes a Pro DRY S oil free synthetic air filter which will never require to be oiled after cleaning.

Very neatly packaged and the kit included all materials, including fasteners.
Manual is included and the installation is easy, without the need for any modifications.
The difference in throttle response compared to a factory filter and this system is very noticeable. The intake rumble is present, but not loud.
You can hear the air being sucked in and when suddenly releasing the throttle you hear the blow-off valve feed the air back into the intake with a satisfying 'whoosh'.
The price is a bit steep when compared to a standard open airfilter, but the kit does come with everything, installation is easy and it fits very well inside the engine bay.
