Garrett G55-2650 102mm Description:
G55-2650 102mm Super Core, G55 Turbo without turbine housing. P/N: 880547-5021S
Garrett G55 turbochargers are engineered for extreme horsepower applications like Radial vs The World and X275 Drag Racing. A new high-flowing inconel turbine wheel and a one-piece aluminum center housing are the two major features that differentiate the G55 from its predecessor.
Applicable Garrett G55-1850 Part#s: 880547-5021S, 761208-0069, 761208-0070, 761208-0071, 761208-0072, 761208-0073, 761208-0074
Turbine Stage:
The newly engineered turbine wheel with optimized G Series aerodynamics increases flow up to 15% more (Compared to GTX Gen II, see graph below). Larger 106mm turbine exducer (+4mm compared to GTX55). G55 is offered with two stainless steel V-band turbine housings in 1.24 A/R and 1.40 A/R. The open T6 turbine housing is also available in 4 different A/R sizes: 1.00, 1.12, 1.24, and 1.40.
Center Housing:
One-piece aluminum center housing reduces supercore weight. The center housing is air cooled, features a 16mm dual ceramic ball bearing for premium rotor dynamics, and retains the oil inlet and outlet specifications from previous GTX designs.
Compressor Stage:
Garrett G55 compressor stages are offered in 85mm, 88mm, 91mm, 94mm, 98mm, 102mm, and 106mm inducer sizes each with their own horsepower ratings indicated in the model name.
