History:
With the introduction of the Kubota RTVs in 2004, Southwest Ag Inc. foresaw the need to make adjustments in their performance to compensate for the local 7,000-foot altitude. The company considered it vital to make sure the units operated efficiently at over 12,000 feet.
The initial intent was only to compensate for the high altitude, and the first generation of kits did exactly that. But upon extensive testing, these modifications worked exceptionally well at much lower altitudes also.
Results: With over 500 installations completed (new & old models), there haven’t been any adverse engine failures caused by the modifications. In fact, the engine excels with the added intake pressure.
Southwest Ag, Inc.’s has now handed over the third-generation kits to TurboKits.com to continue the legacy of making the RTVs perform even better, with kits that are easier to install and come with more, more stainless, more power, more pleasure.
