Introducing TRe's infamous Subaru WRX STi intercooler kit. This heavyweight is measured at 28" x 4.5" x 10.5" and can handle up to 900 HP and 938 CFM flow rate at 1.5 PSI pressure drop without even coming close to over-stressing your engine. Their kit has been tried true by some of the industries best tuners on both track and strip and is private labeled across the world. They've designed the kit to relieve the threat of heat soaking: making it the last worry on your mind.
Some key features integrated into the design is a built in front-frame-brace which replaces the bumper support and fortifies front structural integrity of your vehicle. the intercoolers enlarged internal surface area provides superior cooling efficiencies for radiating heat excess and minimizing heat soak. Another detail worth mentioning--to sell the idea of superior engineering--the replacement front-frame-brace comes grooved around welding strips to avoid rubbing caused by vibration, therefore ensuring no development of micro-fissures. Pretty much if you've thought about a common or sophisticated problem, they've thought about it even longer and have developed a truly flawless product.
They give you the options of colored pipes; Suby Blue, Murdered out Black, Crinkle Red, and Polished. All pipes color options are powder coated with a crinkle finish for easy cleaning and to show less smudges and dirt. Color options add $149 to your kit price. You can also choose your color silicone from black, red, or blue great for color matching and customizing.
The pipe kit can also be purchased with your choice of Tial, Turbonetics/Greddy, and HKS flanged blow off valve options! To purchase a BOV with your kit, please see below links. The pipe kit will come with a pre-welded flange, email request must be sent for flange option if you do not purchase a BOV with your kit.
NOTE:This is sold as a kit, so you must choose the color pipes, and the color intercooler you want. Pics above are show with cold air intake but is not included in pipe kit price. Cold air intake kits with filter are $350 extra.
Also this is not a kit for stock location turbos, how ever you can still adapt the rotated mount kit piping to connect to stock turbo location. Extra pipes that will be needed are 1-2.5" to 2" 45 silicone, 1-2" Aluminum 90, and 1-2" Silicone 90.
